The Office of Student Transition Engagement Programs (STEP) was previously known as the Office of First Year Experience. STEP supports the transition of students into and through their W&M community experience by providing services, outreach, and support encompassed within our New Student Orientation, Find Your Experience, and Form Your Experience programs.
New Students Arriving Spring 2021
Congratulations on your decision to attend William & Mary! We are excited to welcome you to the Tribe and to help you make the most of your time at the university.
Step 1: Go to the Tribe Guide
The Tribe GuideXổ số điểm will lead you through everything that you need before arriving on campus in January. More information will arrive in your W&M G Suite email inbox shortly after.
Step 2: Make Note of the Orientation & Welcome Activities
A blend of in-person and virtual/remote Orientation and Welcome activities for new residential students will begin at their time of move-in. Remote and commuting new spring semester students should plan to participate in required orientation activities as well. New students residing on campus will move into their residence hall room assignment by appointment on Friday, January 22.
Step 3: Review the Spring Orientation Schedule
All students entering for the spring 2021 semester are required to attend the New Student Orientation Program. The Spring 2020 schedule is currently available for your reference. The full Spring 2021 New Student & Family Orientation schedule will be available by January 13.
New Students Arriving Fall 2021
Congratulations on your decision to join us at William & Mary! Information regarding your transition into the university will be available beginning May 1, 2021. Until then, make a note that your required New Student Orientation is tentatively slated for Friday, August 27 - Tuesday, August 31. The first day of fall classes and Opening Convocation immediately follows on Wednesday, September 1.
